The client wanted to create a cafe and bar in a very small corner shop. The surface area of the space at hand was about 13 m2 with an additional basement that would house a small kitchen and bathroom. In those 13 m2 we had to create a comfortable, conceptual and highly practical space with a very low budget.
The key issues that had to be addressed were:
- Using every little part of a very small space in order to incorporate all the necessary uses.
- Creating a unique facade, that would have to have a practical use and that would be luring to the passers-by.
